At the second phase of schooling, as the I.Q. level of the child increases, the teaching-learning methodology takes a step ahead. The children are encouraged to participate in the broad spectrum of co-curricular activities. The evaluation procedure is named CCE i.e. Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation. Activities and projects are conducted from time to time. This makes the child constantly alert about his performance without any laxity.
Teachers create all learning experiences covering a range of learning needs. By the time children move from the Primary School Program to the Middle School Program, they will have ‘learnt to learn’.
Primary education is typically the first stage of formal education, coming after preschool. The purpose of primary education is to provide an individual with the basics of moral and social maturity, foundations of culture (including ethnic culture) and elementary literacy. It assists the child in preparing him/her for learning according to the basic education curriculum. It is that crucial stage when the seeds of morals, manners, and attitude etc. sown in the previous phase, are ready to pop up from the soil and turn into saplings. At this stage students are often ready to accelerate their learning. That’s because at this point, they’ve adjusted to the rigorous learning environment they have faced initially and are able to further expand their skills and knowledge in every area.
